Your day-by-day journey

1Day 1 - Free day

Arrive in Murmansk with connections and transfers arranged by Clubok. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy the meals our team has planned while you get to know the atmosphere of the North.

2Day 2 - Lovozero tundra

09:00 - Depart Murmansk. Pickup is from the central city point: Pyat Uglov Square, Meridian Hotel, or Cosmos Hotel. The drive to the walking-route start takes 1.5-2.5 hours, depending on the number of stops required.

11:00 - Start the walking route. The tundra route lasts 4-6 hours. Be prepared for a long walk; timing depends on the group's pace and route stops.

13:30 - Alluayv summit. Climb to 1,051 m above sea level for views of the tundra, Lake Umbozero, and the Khibiny Mountains. The Sámi name Alluayv is connected with the word for “high”; the place is also called Geologists' Pass. A short-lived settlement was established here in the late 1930s during geological work, and the rare mineral alluaivite was discovered in the Lovozero tundra in 1993.

Lake Umbozero lies between the Lovozero tundra and Khibiny. Its Sámi name, Umpyavr, means “enclosed”. Its maximum depth is 115 m, and its islands together cover about 6 km². The ancient Khibiny mountain massif is another emblem of the peninsula and Murmansk Oblast.

14:00 - Raslaka Cirques. See the amphitheatre-shaped basin and northern views. Geologists found high loparite content here in the 1930s; loparite can be used as a source of titanium.

14:30 - Descent. Return slowly through the Lovozero tundra to the vehicle.

16:30 - Snack. A burger or sandwich with mors is provided. You may also bring water and a small snack for the road.

17:30 - Drive back. Return toward Murmansk.

20:00 - Arrive in Murmansk. Guests are dropped off at their accommodation in the city.

3Day 3 - Teriberka with a sea trip

07:30 - Depart Murmansk. Pickup is from Pyat Uglov Square, Meridian Hotel, or Cosmos Hotel.

09:30 - Tundra stop. Stop in the open tundra for photographs; no walk is planned. In spring and summer, moss forms a dense emerald carpet, with dwarf birches and willows whose leaves are covered with small white hairs.

The route also passes the Kola Wind Farm, with 57 turbines.

11:00 - Sea trip. Cruise along the Teriberka coast while travelers choosing the walking option explore independently. There is a chance to see whales or other marine life, but sightings are not guaranteed. From the water, see the famous Battery Waterfall and Dragon Eggs Beach.

13:30 - Lunch. Stop for a set lunch at a Teriberka café.

14:30 - Dragon Eggs Beach and waterfall. Visit the famous pebble beach, its rounded boulders, and the waterfall above the Arctic Ocean. You can touch and climb the boulders and take photographs.

17:30 - Ship cemetery. Visit the old wooden remains that recall the fishing industry from which the settlement began.

17:45 - Sandy beach in Old Teriberka. Stop by the restaurants, where you can use the enormous swings beside the sea. The beach also has an old fishing boat and the whale skeleton used in filming Leviathan.

18:15 - Depart for Murmansk. 20:45 - Return to Murmansk and transfer guests to their accommodation.

4Day 4 - Waterfalls of the Kola Peninsula

08:30 - Depart Murmansk. Pickup is from Pyat Uglov Square, Meridian Hotel, or Cosmos Hotel.

09:30 - Lavna Waterfall. After a walk through northern forest, see the Lavna waterfall. It is no higher than 4 m, but its full flow is striking.

11:30 - Zapadnaya Litsa Waterfall. At the waterfall on the Zapadnaya Litsa River, it may be possible to see salmon leaping in summer.

13:00 - Lunch. At Titovka Café, sandwiches and tea are provided; you may buy something else or take coffee if needed.

14:10 - Melnichny Cascade. Visit the waterfall on the Titovka River, one of the Kola Peninsula's well-known waterfalls.

17:00 - Return to Murmansk.
